My stingy tip would probably be getting the most out of all my toiletries and cosmetics. I’ll cut open a toothpaste tube, throw some mascara in the microwave, and waterdown my body or face wash just to make it last an extra week or two… sometimes you can continue to use a product for over a month after its “empty”.

I don’t do anything too bad, but I do pack my lunch everyday. I refuse to pay $5+ a day on gross school cafeteria food.

Is it okay to post more than one? Okay so if it is, I also take the napkins that they give you from the fast food places and stack them up in my kitchen for my own use. I don’t visit fast food restaurants often, but I sponge off my boyfriend who does.

I think my stingiest was when I glued a piece of cardboard over a hole in the bottom of my shoe and painted the bottom black. The rest of the shoes were fine and my old shoe repair guy went out of business so I had to make due until I found a new one. Okay, maybe I’m ashamed of that one.

I have a really bad, stingy tip. Many times I have stayed after church luncheons and dinners to help clean up, pack away chairs and sweep the floors just hoping to get to take the left-overs home. It works almost every time. he he he

I use the plastic zippered/snap bags that linens come in, to protect items stored in the closet from dust. Glue the little magnetic business cards they put on phone books, pizza boxes, etc, to the back of plastic cases, to display photos on the refrigerator. If your bedspread needs to be replaced, fold it into a square, stitch the sides together, and you have a nice bed for your pet. If you have an outdoor pet that is wild, or for whatever reason won’t come in during the winter, cut a hole in an old styrofoam cooler, just large enough for the animal to get in, tape the lid shut, and put a towel or old rags in the bottom to help keep them warm. If you put it up high, with a wood panel going over the door, it’ll have a little more protection from the elements. Instead of buying swiffer pads, just cut indentations in an old cloth so it’ll fit on the mop head and throw it in the wash when you’re done.

I’m a newly addicted coupon clipper. I saved $31 at the grocery yesterday and am quite proud of myself.
