The First Love Drop Is Now Live!

Haven’t heard of Love Drop yet?

Where have you been? Love Drop is a brand new organization created by the charismatic and passionate J. Money from BudgetsAreSexy and Nate from It Starts With Us centered around helping people. The goal is to help one family who is down on their luck each and every month.

All month long, J. Money, Nate and all the members of Love Drop (I’m one and you can be too!) as well as the Love Drop Blogger Network spread the word about the recipient, share their story and raise awareness for the cause. At the end of the month, J. Money and Nate will make a surprise visit to the recipients home and deliver anything and everything that has been collected to help them out (all on video of course, so we can see how it turns out).

It’s an awesome program and the best part is that it will be changing the lives of people you and I know over the next year (and beyond), because the Love Drop recipients are chosen by the members!

When you become a member of the Love Drop community at any level ($1 a month and up) you get to suggest families that need our help. You can also take part in all the fun behind the scenes stuff via the Love Drop Forum, get in touch with others in the community as well as the two founders and simply enjoy being part of something amazing.

This months recipient is Jill from Chicago, here is her story:

Kinda pulls at your heartstrings doesn’t it? It’s crazy how many bad things can happen to good people.

Love Drop will be changing lives. I’ve been behind this project since the beginning because I know J. Money and Nate, along with all of us that join, can change people’s lives. It’s not all that hard to make a huge difference with so many people backing a project with love and support.

One of the best things about Love Drop is that this isn’t about money. If you don’t have any money to give but have a service you can provide in person or at a distance, you can be involved. If you don’t have the time to provide, you can support the project by spreading the word. If all you can give is a muffin basket or a warm blanket, do it because everything that is given will go right to Jill and help her when she needs it the most.

I can’t believe how many people have already come together and it’s only a week into January! Jill won’t know what hit her!
