Thanks Bucksome! My wife will be ok, it's worth it in the end anyhow and I do my best to pamper her so it isn't all bad

Thank you Andrew, if you read about the competition, the prize is $10,000 for the team of 5, so that is a pretty good motivator plus having the team for support really helps.

I heard about the public sector taking the hits like that and thought it was a joke or something, I think that the government taking the debt crisis seriously is great but I don't agree that is the best way to go about fixing the problem. Good luck with everything, and stay-cations can be fun, just enjoy yourself

Congratulations on the weight loss and the baby. Having no children I have to say my experience in that area is limited. I am impressed by the amount of weight you have lost it took me 4 months to loose the same amount.

My next vacation – well we have no idea as the UK Govt has kindly decided to make public sector workers the brunt of all the economic woes we expect to be in for a rough time hence my visit to your site for tips. I may well be a stay at home vacation on the back decking:)
