I really need to find a better way to promote my contests as they seem to flop more than I would hope. If any of you readers out there know what I am doing wrong, let me know! I often enter giveaways when what is being given is something desirable or useful to me. I don’t know what you’ve offered in the past, but I didn’t have any use for the prize this time, and that’s why I didn’t enter. I always enter when the prize is an amazon.com gift certificate, PayPal payment or books that are relevant to me. If I am not enticed by the prize, I figure I shouldn’t take away somebody else’s chance to win it, as somebody else might really like it.

Honestly I felt like this prize was cool and all but not all that useful for the regular person. A business may find more use for a huge glossy poster, or an art enthusiast but a lot of people just wouldn’t be turned on by it. I toyed with the idea of this giveaway for a few days and decided just to run it and see what came of it.
UPrinting.com does offer some great products and I have seen some awesome giveaways from them so I also wanted to get the word out that I am part of their sponsored blog ring, so keep an eye out for some business card giveaway or something to that note, I see them run them fairly often.
